I want to share this true story.

Between 1991 and 2004 I was tour guide in South Turkey. Every day we made tours. One day on the return of the tour I stood up and asked the people in the bus a question : “How does a man recognize that he grows older?” Nobody in the bus could give me an answer. So I start to tell them “First he forgets the names of the people that he knows. After a while he forgets the faces of the people he knows. Then he forgets to close his zip when he comes from the toilet. Finally he forgets to open his zip.” It was funny and everybody laughed.

About a week later the group was leaving and I came with the bus to pick them up from their hotel. As the driver was loading their luggage I was sitting on a chair waiting for the people to arrive. Three single crazy Dutch girls which were on the tour came to me. “ Hi Erdogan, do you remember the story you told us about how a man recognizes that he grows older? We forgot it, can you please tell us one more time. It was such a nice story”.

I felt so proud that they remembered the story and start to tell it again. “First he forgets the names of the people that he knows. After a while he forgets the faces of the people he knows. Then he forgets to close his zip “ At that moment I noticed that they were looking at my zip and laughing. I looked down and saw that my zip was open. Ooooooh I was feeling so embarrassed. But it was one of the most funniest moments in my life.
